Katie Lemieux, LMFT and Dr. Jeffery Cotton will be doing a training at the Children's Services Counsel in Broward County Florida on July 30th, 2013 from 9am - 12:30pm. The cost is $10 and CEUs are provided.
"Understanding the Prevention of Medical Errors" is a required course for ALL non-licensed clinicians seeking licensure and ALL licensed professionals each biennium. This course is approved by the state of Florida.

The workshop will include didactic, interactive, and advanced clinical perspectives regarding the importance of maintaining accurate record keeping and methods to prevent documentation errors. We will review and discuss why record keeping is important, can reduce liability, create plans to handle future issues, and provide good clinical service. This training can serve as information, supporting best practice in regards to clinical documentation.
